Это утверждение можно смело поместить в категорию мифов о том, что вредно жить. Справедливости ради отметим, вымывание кальция действительно имеет место. Однако оно настолько незначительное, что его можно компенсировать одной-двумя столовыми ложками молока в день. То есть достаточно получать суточную дозу кальция.

Правда, исследования проводились не со всеми сортами кофе, а только обжаренными зернами Робуста и Арабики. Благодаря содержанию в них катехина, они воздействуют на стрептококки (Streptococcus Mutans), которые разрушают зубы.
Кроме того, ходит еще один миф о том, что кофе приводит к пожелтению зубов. Однако Северо-осетинская государственная медицинская академия в 2009 году провела простой эксперимент — зубы человека на 4 дня поместили в разные напитки, в том числе и кофе. Как выяснилось, образцы, которые лежали в кофе, практически не пожелтели, в отличие от тех, которые находились в других популярных газированных напитках и соках.
