В последнее время появилось огромное количество всевозможных теорий заговора. Некоторые из них довольно абсурдны, например, некоторые сторонник теорий заговоров утверждают о том, что Земля плоская, миром правят рептилоиды или масоны, американцы не летали на Луну, совсем недавно планету населяли великаны и т.д. Как бы это странно ни звучало, но Интернет тоже стал поводом для теории заговора, согласно которой он «умер» в 2016-2017 году. Он, конечно, функционирует, но стал намного хуже, и теперь представляет собой кладбище, где отсутствует человеческая деятельность. Что такое “теория мертвого Интернета”
Согласно этой теории, Интернет в настоящее время лишен содержания и гораздо хуже, чем был, например, 10-15 лет назад. В нем больше некуда идти, и нечего читать, несмотря на то, что сеть кажется гигантской. В этом плане Интернет стал напоминать воздушный шар, внутри которого ничего нет.

В Интернете человек сталкивается с огромным количеством ботов
Чаще всего боты стараются повлиять на общественное мнение в политических вопросах, прилагают усилия, чтобы люди не подвергали сомнения свою элиту, формируют мнение относительно тех или иных событий, и т.д. Кроме того, ботов используют в коммерческих целях, подталкивая пользователей постоянно совершать покупки. Но так ли это на самом деле?
Почему возникла “теория мертвого Интернета”
Согласно одному из исследований, в 2022 году половина интернет-трафика (не контента, а именно трафика) приходилась на ботов. Правда, в статистику был включена и трафик, сгенерированный в результате DDOS-атак, то есть деятельности, в результате которой веб-сайты перегружают большим количеством запросов. Так как ресурсы не могут обработать одновременно большое количество запросов, сайты перестают функционировать.
Надо сказать, что ботов начали активно использовать в сети еще в 2013 году. Например, в США разразился целый скандал из-за того, что в 2016 году боты могли повлиять на результаты выборов президента.
С течением времени количество ботов в сети только увеличивается. Причем, по оценкам экспертов, с развитием искусственного интеллекта, технология будет совершенствоваться еще как минимум 10 лет. Со временем боты начнут представлять собой действительно серьезную угрозу. Такое мнение, например, высказывает Карл Трибес, вице-президент компании Imperva, которая провела вышеупомянутое исследование.
