В ходе эксперимента исследователи кормили мышей экстрактом апельсиновой корки в течение шести недель. Под конец эксперимента авторы обнаружили в крови грызунов снижение биомаркеров, указывающих на воспаление в организме, а также наличие сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний. Апельсиновая кожура улучшает здоровье при неправильном питании
Как известно, неправильное питание, то есть потребление продуктов с большим содержанием жиров, приводит к накоплению жира в организме. Жир в свою очередь провоцирует воспаление, о чем мы рассказывали ранее. Однако нынешнее исследование показало, что мыши, которые питались жирной пищей, но при этом ежедневно получали дозу FP, набирали меньше жира, чем контрольная группа.
По словам самих исследователей, новое открытие подчеркивает ранее непризнанный потенциал ферулоилпутресцина для здоровья. В частности, вещество может защитить сердечно-сосудистую систему от заболеваний, в том числе от сердечных приступов.
