Бразильский странствующий паук относится к роду Phoneutria. В 2010 году он был признан самым ядовитым среди паукообразных. Само его название “Phoneutria” с греческого переводится как “убийца”. Он имеет довольно устрашающий внешний вид — его тело вырастает до 5 см, а размах лап достигает 18 см. При этом лапы и брюхо имеют волосяной покров коричневого цвета.
Яд этого паука гораздо токсичнее яда черной вдовы. Например, черной вдове, чтобы убить мышь весом 20 граммов, необходимо впрыснуть ей внутривенно 110 мкг яда. Бразильскому же странствующему пауку для убийства такой же мыши будет достаточно впрыснуть внутривенно всего 6 мкг яда.

Сотрудники больницы Санта-Каса-Белу-Оризонти в Бразилии начали исследовать яд паука почти 20 лет назад. Перед собой они поставили задачу выяснить почему он вызывает эрекцию и можно ли его использовать в качестве препарата для потенции. Как выяснилось, эффект вызывает одна из молекул в его составе.
Дальнейшее исследование показало, что само по себе соединение не обладает каким-либо токсическим эффектом, то есть не причиняет вреда здоровью. Эффект вызван тем, что оно провоцирует выброс оксида азота, который в свою очередь усиливает приток крови к области гениталий, о чем говорится в недавнем заявлении. К слову, препараты типа Виагры не усиливают выброс азота, а только повышают восприимчивость к нему.

Авторы работы сделали препарат в виде геля и нанесли его на пах грызунам. В результате он вызвал тот же эффект, что и яд паука.
Затем исследователи провели пилотный эксперимент на мужчинах. Во время клинических испытаний он также показал эффективность и безопасность, то есть не вызывал никаких побочных эффектов и не оказывал токсического воздействия. При этом соединение показало эффективность при применении в минимальном количестве.
Преимущества препарата на основе яда паука
Как поясняют создатели препарата на основе BZ371A, Виагра помогает далеко не всем пациентам. Кроме того, имеет много противопоказаний, например, препарат нельзя принимать людям с болезнями сердца или печени. Кроме того, его запрещено смешивать со многими другими лекарственными средствами, которые принимают люди с различными хроническими заболеваниями.
