Насколько длительное сидение опасно для жизни
К своей работе авторы привлекли почти 6000 женщин в возрасте от 63 до 99 лет. Все они в течение недели носили монитор активности, который показывал сколько времени они сидят и вообще насколько активный образ жизни ведут. Затем ученые следили за всеми участницами в течение десяти лет. За это время умерли 1733 женщины.
При помощи искусственного интеллекта ученые сопоставили время, которое участницы сидели, с риском смерти. Как выяснилось, у женщин, сидевших ежедневно по 11 часов в день и более, риск смерти был увеличен на 57% по сравнению с теми, кто сидел менее 9,5 часов в день. Об этом исследователи сообщают в издании Journal Of American Heart Association.
