Перехват баллистических ракет, как мы ранее уже рассказывали, является одной из самых сложных задач для систем противовоздушной и противоракетной обороны. Момент сбития происходит в плотных слоях атмосферы, когда баллистическая ракета снижает высоту непосредственно пред ударом по цели. При этом времени на реагирование у системы ПВО крайне мало. Однако израильской системе противоракетной обороны Хец-3 (он же Arrow-3, или “Стрела-3”) впервые в истории человечества удалось сбить баллистическую ракету класса земля-земля за пределами атмосферы. Это произошло 30 октября, предположительно ракета была выпущена из Йемена, которая успела пролететь полторы тысяч километров, прежде чем была перехвачена.

Взлет ракеты Хец-3, которая перехватила ракету в космосе
Система ПРО Хец-3
Работа над третьим поколением системы противоракетной обороны Эрроу-3 началась в 2009 году. В работе над проектом принимало участие американское Агентство по противоракетной обороне, а также компания “Боинг” и израильский концерн Israel Aerospace Industries. Испытания уже готовой системы начались в 2011 году, а в 2015 они были успешно завершены.
В отличие от предшественников, то есть систем ПРО Хец-1 и Хец-2, новая ракета оснащена кинетической боеголовкой. То есть перехват происходит за счет столкновения с баллистический ракетой. Противоракеты предыдущего поколения были бесконтактными — поражали цель за счет взрыва. По некоторым данным, ПРО может перехватывать баллистические ракеты с дальностью полета от 1000 до 5000 км, однако на этот счет есть разные мнения.
Противоракета Хец-3 оснащена двигателем с отклоняемым вектором тяги. Соответственно, она за счет этого стала более маневренной, а значит и более точной. Кроме того, система получила усовершенствованную систему РЛС Great Pine которая способна обнаруживать цели на расстоянии до 900 километров.

Система противоракетной обороны Arrow-3
Все это позволяет Хец-3 осуществлять заатмосферный перехват баллистических целей, что и было продемонстрировано 30 октября, о чем сообщает издание The Jerusalem Post. Перехват произошел на высоте 100 км, то есть на границе космоса и атмосферы.
Надо сказать, что система Arrow за четверть века своего существования использовалась в реальных боях только дважды. При этом она постоянно подвергалась критике из-за очень высокой стоимости. Теперь же она смогла доказать свою эффективность.
Другие экзосферные перехватчики

Российская система противовоздушной обороны С-500 «Прометей»
Напомним, что система С-500 может ликвидировать цели, летящие на гиперзвуковой скорости, а также баллистических ракет на заатмосферном участке и в ближнем космосе на высоте до 200 км. Кроме того, система ПВО способна сбивать космические аппараты на околоземной орбите.
Американская система противоракетной обороны THAAD может перехватывать ракеты за пределами атмосферы, правда, на высоте до 150 км и на дистанции до 200 км. При этом дальность обнаружения составляет 200 км. Система предназначена для перехвата начиная от оперативно-тактических ракет, и заканчивая ракетами средней дальности.

Надо сказать, что назвать “экзосферными перехватчиками” системы ПВО и ПРО, которые способны осуществлять перехват баллистических ракет в космосе, можно лишь условно. Дело в том, что экзосфера находится на высоте 500 км.
Как осуществляется перехват баллистических ракет в космосе
Большинство противоракет существующих систем ПВО и ПРО перехватывают ракеты бесконтактным способом. Это значит, что они не попадают непосредственно в ракету, а, как уже было сказано выше, взрываются рядом с ней. Однако в космосе нет атмосферы, а значит и ударной волны не существует.
