Как появились домашние куры

Почему курицы не летают
В 2020 году ученые провели исследование и выяснили, что разделение куриц на диких и домашних особей произошло примерно 7500 лет назад. Птицы были одомашнены на территории Китая — путем скрещивания, на свет появлялись новые породы с уникальным внешним видом и умениями.
Некоторые виды домашних кур имеют необычную окраску, длинный хвост, а также откладывают яйца экзотических цветов. Но главной задачей селекционеров было не выведение красивых птиц, а питательных. Им было важно, что курицы обладали большими грудными мышцами, а также давали много яиц.
