Китайские города оседают с высокой скоростью
Авторы недавнего исследования изучили 82 крупных китайских города. Для этого они использовали радиолокационные импульсы со спутников. Благодаря им можно отслеживать любые изменения расстояния между спутником и землей. Таким образом авторы измерили насколько опустились города в период с 2015 по 2022 год.
Результаты исследования показали, что 45% городов Китая оседают быстрее, чем на 3 миллиметра в год. Кроме того, скорость оседания 16% городов составляет более 10 миллиметров в год. Как уже было сказано выше, хуже всего ситуация обстоит в Пекине, Шанхае и Тяньцзине. Например, Шанхай за последние 100 лет опустился на 3 метра, и продолжает быстро оседать.

Почему китайские города проваливаются под землю
Проблема оседания городов касается не только Китая. Ранее мы рассказывали, что аналогичная ситуация наблюдается во всем мире. Согласно одному из исследований, к 2040 году 2 миллионов квадратных километров суши могут оказаться ниже уровня моря. Причем в наибольшей степени данная проблема касается Индонезию.
Причины этому явлению называют разные. По мнению некоторых ученых, ключевым фактором является забор воды. Люди осушают почву и откачивают грунтовые воды, в результате чего образуются пустоты. Соответственно, грунт постепенно оседает. Ранее мы рассказывали, что в США из-за откачки грунтовых вод стали появляться разломы. Поэтому одним из способов решения проблемы, по мнению экспертов, является контроль над добычей подземных вод.
Кроме того, причиной оседания является уплотнение пород под весом городов. Здания и всевозможные конструкции имеют большую массу, в результате чего грунт под ними начинает сжиматься. Кроме того, вполне возможно, что давление, оказываемое мегаполисами на грунт, приводит к перераспределению грунтовых вод, то есть они устремляются в те участки, где давление меньше. Это тоже становится причиной оседания городов.
