Этот показатель был замечен на метеостанции международного аэропорта Кешм Дейрстан, и такая жара наблюдается на территории республики уже несколько недель подряд. По его словам, эта температура была зафиксирована в международном аэропорту Дейрстан в округе Кешм. Однако, автор поста не поделился, откуда именно он взял эту новость — рекордная температура, якобы, была замечена специалистами из местной метеостанции. Больше всего новости о невыносимой жаре в Иране ходят в российских сайтах и социальных сетях, причем не крупных, а небольших. Так что доверять этой информации на данный момент не стоит.

Важно отметить, что когда Колин МакКарти опубликовал новость о рекордной жаре в Иране, он имел в виду не фактическую температуру воздуха. В опубликованном им сообщении говорится об индексе жары — условном показателе, который учитывает как температуру воздуха, так и ее относительную влажность. Благодаря этому показателю можно примерно понять, как себя ощущает человек, находящийся на улице. Когда индекс жары составляет упомянутый выше +81 градус Цельсия, фактическая температура воздуха равна +37 градусам.

По данным издания The Washington Post, текущий год в Иране действительно выдался экстремально жарким. Якобы зафиксированная в аэропорту 81-градусная жара это не самый высокий показатель — в августе на прибрежных зонах республики индекс жары подскочил до баснословных 158 градусов Цельсия. В совокупности с высоким уровнем влажности, такая погода очень опасна для людей, потому что при высокой влажности организм человека не может охлаждаться за счет испарения пота и быстро греется.
