Причины астероидного гиалоза
Точная причина развития астероидного гиалоза ученым неизвестна. Но ученые уже пытались найти что-то общее между людьми с этим диагнозом. Результаты исследования показали, что болезнь чаще всего развивается у пожилых людей с системными заболеваниями вроде сахарного диабета, повышенного артериального давления и высокого уровня холестерина. Лечение астероидного гиалоза
Обычно астероидный гиалоз не требует лечения, потому что не нарушает зрение и не прогрессирует. Но в редких случаях количество непрозрачных частиц в стекловидном теле настолько велико, что они начинают мешать прохождению света — в этом случае острота зрения может заметно уменьшиться. Также при повышении количества частиц могут появиться мушки перед глазами, которые при большой концентрации тоже мешают зрению.
При доставлении серьезных неудобств, офтальмологи проводят хирургическую операцию — витрэктомию. Во время нее, хирурги удаляют из глаза человека все стекловидное тело (включая частицы кальция и фосфолипидов), и заменяют это вещество другим прозрачным раствором. Операция проводится безболезненно, потому что пациентам дают анестезию. После хирургического вмешательства в глазах могут возникать неприятные ощущения, но они постепенно проходят и глаза человека восстанавливают свой обычный вид.
