Польза кофе — напиток снижает риск болезни Паркинсона
В недавнем исследовании международная группа ученых изучила данные более 180 тысяч человек, и пришла к выводу, что люди, которые потребляют кофе, имеют меньше риск развития озвученного заболевания, по сравнению с теми, кто кофе вообще не пьет.
Болезнь Паркинсона — это прогрессирующее нейродегенеративное заболевание, которое приводит к разрушению и гибели нейронов, вырабатывающих нейромедиатор дофамин. Характерными симптомами болезни Паркинсона является сильный тремор, сниженная двигательная активность, снижение устойчивости человека и т.д.
Чтобы получить больше информации, ученые отобрали сотни людей с болезнью Паркинсона и измерили уровень метаболитов (продуктов метаболизма) кофеина в крови: параксантина и теофиллина. Как выяснилось, эти метаболиты имеют обратную связь с риском заболевания, то есть чем больше в крови этих веществ, тем ниже риск развития болезни Паркинсона.

В целом же потребление кофе снижает риск заболевания от 5 до 63%, в зависимости от страны проживания человека.
Разумеется, на риск заболевания также влияют и многие другие факторы, такие как курение, злоупотребление алкоголем, и пр. Но даже при наличии этих факторов потребление кофе оказывает свое положительное влияние.
