Прежде всего отметим, что не всегда какие-либо изъяны на коже носа говорят о болезнях. Например, самой распространенной проблемой кожи являются так называемые комедоны, или попросту черные (иногда белые) точки. Они возникают из-за закупорки мелких желез кожи, выделяющих определенные масла.

Но гораздо хуже, если на носу и вокруг него появляется розовая угревая сыпь, или розацеа. Это хроническое кожное заболевание, вызывающее покраснение кожи, появление мелких прыщиков и видимых расширенных кровеносных сосудов. Последние выглядят как тонкие красные или пурпурные линии.
Само по себе это заболевание чревато последствиями — оно может привести к разрастанию и утолщению кожи носа. Это более серьезная форма заболевания, которая называется ринофимой. В этом случае меняется лицо человека, что приводит обычно к снижению самооценки человека, депрессии и т.д. К сожалению, болезнь неизлечима, но ее можно контролировать и не допустить развития ринофимы.
