Китайские ученые хотят использовать их для строительства лунных баз.

В Китае решили строить лунные базы внутри пещер
На Луне есть огромные пещеры
Ученые предполагают, то на Луне существуют так называемые лавовые трубы, диаметр которых составляет несколько сотен метров. Если это предположение подтвердится, гигантские пещеры могли бы стать отличным убежищем, в котором можно построить лунные базы. По их мнению, толстый каменный потолок может обеспечить надежную защиту от всех внешних воздействий, которые только присутствуют на поверхности Луны. Поэтому лавовые пещеры могут оказаться ценнейшим ресурсом. Более того, ими уже заинтересовалось Китайское национальное космическое управление.
Лавовые трубки, или лавовые пещеры возникли, когда лава, вырывающаяся на поверхность, стала застывать. Верхняя часть раскаленного материала окаменела и образовала прочные каменные стенки, а внутренняя часть просто стекла, оставив после себя полости. Такие пещеры существуют и у нас на Земле.

Ученые пока не знают когда на Луне завершился вулканизм. По одним данным это могло произойти миллиард лет назад, а по другим — он продолжался еще 50 миллионов лет назад. Но, в любом случае, эти лавовые трубы должны быть прочными и огромными по диаметру.
Какие лавовые пещеры имеются на Луне
Лавовые пещеры бывают двух типов — вертикальными, то есть с отвесными стенками, и наклонными. На Земле существует оба типа пещер. Но почти все лавовые трубки, обнаруженные на Луне, были вертикальными. Это может быть связано с тем, что наблюдение ведется сверху, то есть с орбиты спутника. Обнаружить наклонные пещеры в таком случае просто невозможно.
Чтобы попасть в вертикальные пещеры, в них нужно залетать либо использовать подъемное оборудование. Поэтому наклонные трубки более удобные для использования. В такие пещеры, возможно, сможет заехать даже луноход и провести исследование.

Однако первые исследования уже начались, и они проводятся на Земле. Китайские ученые считают, что между земными и лунными пещерами достаточно сходства, чтобы земные пещеры можно было исследовать как аналог лунных. Поэтому команда ученых уже приступила к исследованию лавовых трубок, расположенных в Китае.
Как китайские ученые будут исследовать лавовые трубки
Китайские ученые считают наиболее перспективными лавовые пещеры, которые расположена на участках «Море спокойствия» и «Море плодородия». Они богаты различными вулканическими образованиями, о чем сообщается в одном из исследований. Для исследования этих пещер будет построен специальный аппарат, передвигающийся на колесах или ногах. В любом случае, он будет адаптирован для передвижения по сложной местности и преодоления различных препятствий.
Также ученые хотят использовать дополнительные транспортные средства, которые смогут отделяться от основного зонда и выполнять дополнительную разведку. Дополнительные аппараты могут быть катящимися, ползающими и даже прыгающими. Их оснастят различным исследовательским оборудованием, которое будет собирать информацию об окружающей среде. Благодаря этому миссия сможет решать различные задачи.

Кроме того, в Китае хотят создать летающего робота. Он будет исследовать пещеры при помощи микроволновых и лазерных радаров. После сбора информации Китай отправит экипаж для строительства баз. Территория пещеры будет благоустроена, в ней оборудуют жилье для астронавтов и исследовательские объекты. У входа в пещеру будет установлено энергетическое оборудование и оборудование связи.

Ранее Китай объявил, что планирует пилотируемый полет и строительство лунных баз в 2028 году. Правда, тогда речь не шла о строительстве баз внутри пещер, исследование которых потребует дополнительное время. Поэтому, вполне возможно, что сроки будет изменены.
