Оно является неионизирующим, то есть у него недостаточно энергии, чтобы повредить ДНК внутри клеток. Максимальный вред, который может получить из-за микроволнового излучения — это ожог. Однако, как уже было сказано выше, есть и другой тип опасности.
В недавнем исследовании группа испанских ученых из стартапа Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence SL изучили 30 микроволновок и обнаружили внутри почти 750 различных видов микробов. Следует отметить, что печи для исследования были взяты из разных мест — частных домов, офисов, кафе и исследовательских лабораторий.

Конечно, не все виды бактерий опасны для человека, но некоторые микробы, обнаруженные в бытовых микроволновках, такие как Klebsiella, Enterococcus и Aeromonas могут вызвать серьезные заболевания. Об этом исследователи сообщают в издании Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence SL.
Какие бактерии живут внутри микроволновых печей
Клебсиеллы встречаются в фекалиях человека, также могут быть на коже и слизистых дыхательных путей, имеются в почве, поэтому часто встречаются на фруктах и овощах. Бактерия может вызывать пневмонию, инфекции крови, конъюнктивиты, менингиты, острые кишечные инфекции и другие некоторые заболевания.
В 2017 году ВОЗ причислила данный вид бактерий к наиболее опасным из-за их постоянно растущей резистентности к существующим антибактериальным препаратам. То есть они становятся все более устойчивыми к воздействию антибиотиков, а значит инфекции все сложнее поддаются лечению.

Enterococcus и Aeromonas также являются достаточно опасными бактериями. Например, энтерококки вызывают такие заболевания, как инфекции мочевыводящих путей, менингит, бактериемия (наличие бактерий в крови) и пр. Бактерии Aeromonas производит токсин аэролизин, который может привести к повреждению тканей органов. Правда, эта бактерия редко заражает здоровых людей.
Как бактерии выживают внутри микроволновки
На первый взгляд кажется странным, что внутри микроволновой печи, которая генерирует мощное электромагнитное излучение, живут бактерии. На самом деле этому можно легко найти объяснение. Стоит ли опасаться микроволновых печей
Как выяснили исследователи, в бытовых микроволновках, которые стоят в частных кухнях или общественных местах, микробиом менее разнообразный, по сравнению с микроволновками, использующимися в лабораториях. То есть внутри них живет меньшее количество видов бактерий.
