Древняя табличка с еврейскими проклятиями
Как сообщает руководитель проекта, археолог Скотт Стриплинг, глава раскопок американской Ассоциации библейских исследований (ABR), древняя табличка с проклятием была обнаружена на горе Гевал в конце 2019 года. По словам исследователей, она представляет собой небольшую свинцовую пластину размером 2,5 на 2,5 сантиметра, покрытую с двух сторон коротким текстом. Сорок букв на пластине относятся к ранней форме еврейского или ханаанского языка.
Табличка была обнаружена путем промывания отложений которые были выброшены на поверхность в результате археологических раскопок на горе Гевал еще в 80-х годах. Скорее всего, отложения были добыты в результате раскопок каменного сооружения, известного как “Алтарь Иисуса Навина”, расположенного на хребте горы.

Текст на древней табличке написан с использованием ранней формы ханаанского алфавита
Согласно некоторым предположениям, это каменное сооружение могло быть местом, где библейский персонаж Иисус Навин, преемник Моисея на посту лидера израильтян, приносил в жертву Богу животных. Согласно другим данным, сооружение является жертвенным алтарем, который был создан на несколько лет позже.
Текст таблички содержит предупреждение о том, что произойдет с человеком, который не выполнит свои обязательства в соответствии с заветом, то есть обязывающим соглашением. В переводе надпись на ней гласит — “Проклят, проклят, проклят — проклят Богом Яхве”. Как сообщают археологи, в табличке используется трехбуквенная форма еврейского имени Бога, которая соответствует латинским буквам YHW.
Когда была создана древняя табличка с проклятиями
Как уже было сказано выше, датирование находки еще не проводилось. Однако, согласно возрасту слоев грунта, в котором она была обнаружена, табличка была создана как минимум в 1200 году до нашей эры. Но, вполне возможно, что на самом деле ее возраст составляет 3400 лет.
