Ученые впервые соединили бионический протез с костями и тканями человека
Уникальный бионический протез
50-летней женщине из Швеции по имени Карин, потерявшей руку в результате несчастного случая на ферме, три года назад был установлен ультрасовременный протез. Устройство, получившее название Mia Hand, разработано итальянской компанией Prensilia, которая уже долгое время специализируется на робототехнических и биомедицинских устройствах. К работе над ним были привлечены ученые из Швеции, Италии и Австралии.
Работа протеза основана на усовершенствованном человеко-машинном интерфейсе, благодаря которому искусственный интеллект преобразовывает сигналы мозга в точные движения. По словам самих инженеров, протез был выполнен по уникальной на тот момент технологии. Одна из его особенностей — встроенные датчики, которые обеспечивают не только точное управление протезом, но и ограниченное осязание. То есть присутствует обратная связь.

Революционная технология протезирования
Как сообщается в издании Science Robotics, для подключения протеза, в локтевую и лучевую кости женщины ученые установили два имплантата. Затем эти импланты соединили с мышечными трансплантатами, то есть мышцами, взятыми с ноги женщины. Для усиления сигналов, поступающих на интерфейс, в мышечную ткань были вживлены электроды. Наличие мышечных трансплантатов позволило травмированным мышцам и нервам в культе руки снова прикрепиться к тканям.
Данная технология обеспечила протез сразу несколькими важными преимуществами. Так как сенсорные электроды находятся внутри роботизированной руки, а не просто под кожей, нервная стимуляция более надежно и последовательно воспринимается. Как сообщают ученые, точность движения увеличилась в четыре раза по сравнению с обычными бионическими протезами.
