В Китае вспышка атипичной пневмонии – и нет, это не дежавю и даже не сбой в матрице. 23 ноября эксперты Всемирной организации здравоохранения (ВОЗ) запросили у Поднебесной дополнительные данные о распространении респираторного заболевания на севере страны. По данным организации, о росте числа «гриппоподобных заболеваний» преимущественно среди детей власти сообщили еще в середине октября а всплеск заболеваемости объяснили сезонными микробами а не «необычными или новыми патогенами». И действительно – причиной, по которой в детские больницы Китая ежедневно поступает около 7000 пациентов, оказалась пневмония, вызываемая бактерией mycoplasma pneumoniae. Но даже несмотря на то, что с микоплазмой человечество знакомо уже давно, беспокойство экспертов вызывает ее устойчивость к антибиотикам (наряду с высокой контагиозностью). Что такое микоплазма?

Микоплазма – это особая форма бактерии, поражающая различные части тела включая кожу, легкие и мочевыделительную систему (в зависимости от типа). Микоплазма распространяется при тесном контакте. Mycoplasma genitalium и mycoplasma hominis распространяются при половом контакте.

По данным ВОЗ, наиболее распространенной микоплазменной инфекцией является mycoplasma pneumoniae – именно эта бактерия вызывает порядка 20% всех внебольничных пневмоний. И хотя заболеть микоплазменной пневмонией может каждый, чаще всего она поражает детей в возрасте от 5 до 9 лет, а пик заболеваемости приходится на осенне-зимний период.

В нашей стране также растет заболеваемость микоплазмой: ее диагностируют в Санкт-Петербурге почти у каждого третьего ребенка с симптомами ОРВИ. Больше всего заболевших — среди детей школьного возраста. Помимо Санкт-Петербурга инфекцию зарегистрировали в Карелии и Пензенской области.

К счастью, большинство зараженных mycoplasma pneumoniae становится лучше без применения антибиотиков, однако при развитии пневмонии их не приема не избежать (общие симптомы пневмонии включают то, о чем мы упоминали ранее – лихорадку, усталость и кашель, а также одышку). Так, по данным Центров по контролю и профилактике заболеваний, устойчивость к типу антибиотиков, используемых для лечения микоплазменной пневмонии, может играть определенную роль в увеличении числа случаев заболевания в Китае и других странах мира.

Стоит ли говорить, что текущая ситуация вызывает сильную обеспокоенность среди ученых и врачей, так как из-за нетипичного строения клетки микоплазмы устойчивы к большому количеству антибиотиков, бьющих как раз в клеточную стенку.
