Несколько дней назад на берег Грин-Хед в Западной Австралии был выброшен неопознанный металлический объект довольно внушительных размеров. Так как определить, что это такое и кем создано, до сих пор не удалось, объект был сразу же взят под охрану полицией. Его изучением занялось космическое агентство Австралии (ASA). Вначале специалисты даже не исключали, что объект может быть опасен, поэтому попросили местное население держаться от него подальше. Правда, впоследствии после химических анализов было объявлено, что он не несет угрозы для населения. Однако объект продолжает находиться под охраной полиции, чтобы оставался нетронутым до окончания исследования.

Что представляет собой неопознанный объект в Австралии
Вынесенный не берег объект имеет цилиндрическую форму. Его диаметр составляет около 2,5 метров а длина около трех метров. Объект явно рукотворный, но кто его сделал и зачем? Изначально его связывали с лунной миссией Chandrayaan3 Индийского агентства космических исследований. Однако состояние объекта, в частности, ракушки на стенках, говорят о том, что он находился в воде задолго до старта миссии Chandrayaan3.
Космическая программа Индии активизировалась только последние несколько лет. Но по оценке некоторых специалистов объект мог находиться в воде до 20 лет. Поэтому у лунной миссии точно не имеет отношения.

Тем не менее, основная версия заключается в том, что загадочный цилиндр не поднялся из глубины океана, а упал из космоса. Сообщается, что объект металлический, однако очевидцы, которые его передвигали, говорят, что он очень легкий. Вполне может быть, что объект выполнен из углеволокна.
Кто и зачем создал таинственный объект
Версии относительно неопознанного объекта выдвигают самые разные. Согласно одной из них, это может быть часть пропавшего девять лет назад самолета MH370 или деталь нефтяной буровой установки. Однако большинство специалистов сходятся во мнении, что это все же корпус от третьей ступени индийской ракеты.
Обычно при запуске двигатели первых трех ступеней отваливаются и падают в Индийский океан. Объект, возможно, попал в поток течения Леувина, в результате чего запросто мог оказаться в Западной Австралии. По мнению Доктора Элис Горман, сотрудника Университета Флиндерса, скорее всего это третья ступень ракеты-носителя для полярных спутников, о чем сообщает издание The Guardian.

Собственно говоря, Индийское оборонное научно-исследовательское агентство уже сообщило, что вынесенный на берег Австралии объект принадлежит им, и является частью ракеты PSLV. При взлете она теряет свои ступени над отдаленными районами океана. Однако австралийское космическое агентство по какой-то причине не спешит подтверждать эту версию. Хотя признало, что объект мог быть частью иностранной ракеты-носителя.
Космический мусор засоряет Землю
На фотографии индийских ракет PSLV, которые запускали спутники в 2015 году для Сингапура, действительно можно заметить сходство с выброшенным объектом. Таким образом находка сигнализирует о проблеме космического мусора, который накапливается не только в космосе, но и на Земле.
На орбиту планеты выводится все больше спутников, при этом части ракет обычно затапливают в океане. Однако не существует каких-либо планов по извлечению и утилизации этого мусора. В результате он постепенно накапливается и уже дает о себе знать.

Согласно Договору ООН по космосу, за космический мусор несет ответственность организация, которая осуществляет запуск. Но, как это часто бывает в международном праве, договор не соблюдается, так как отсутствует контролирующий орган, который мог бы обеспечить его соблюдение. В то же время падающие части ракет и спутники причиняют вред окружающей среде.
